One more time around the track - read chapter one through. But this time look for interesting details. Ask questions. Are there omitted details you wonder about? Why wait three days?
Write your questions down. Having paper and pen next to you while you read the Bible is always a good idea. And if you see things in the chapter that strike you, go ahead and make a mark in the margin.
“Just as we fully obeyed Moses, so will we obey you.”
Given the grief they gave Moses, do you suppose Joshua found that statement real encouraging?!
