It’s called Passion Week because of the dramatic - and traumatic - events that lead up to Christ’s crucifixion on Friday morning. Keep your heart tuned to the depth of those events, all of which he endured for your salvation.

Have you invited anyone to our Easter service? Just the worship service this week, beginning at 9:00 and ending shortly after 10:00. Childcare provided as normal.

Remember to tell anyone you’ve invited that they should park in the gravel lot across from the Wigwam on Old Litchfield Road, just south of the church and north of the block of restaurants. Once they walk across the street they’ll see our signs directing them from there.

Yesterday I had a very interesting conversation with someone about financial abuses carried out by pastors who help themselves to church funds. As we talked I thought about last week’s sermon on professional standards. Malfeasance is, unfortunately, much more common that you probably think. Sad.
